Communications Technician (Cable Guy) Career

Date: January 21, 2008
Description: This is just a whimsical quickie career I threw together to upload with a Sim. It's not very well tested or terribly well balanced, but I thought some people might have fun with it.

Requirements: No EP Required, Base Game

Demon Career

Date: January 21, 2008
Description: This career should work with any EP or none. It does not overwrite any Maxis careers but does have the same memories and rewards as the career it's cloned from (Athletic.) It is designed to complement my Celestial (Angel) career. Their specifications are nearly identical, except that demons get paid slightly more, have flashier transport, and work different (but equivalent) hours and days from their angelic counterparts.

The levels are loosely based on demonic hierarchies found at Wikipedia. Because celestial beings are technically genderless or capable of changing gender at will, only male forms of titles are used. The career has three Chance Cards; readers of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's novel Good Omens may find them very familiar! :)

This is not designed with game balance in mind; it's meant to let your supernatural Sims live comfortably in the mortal world while they go about their infernal business. Pay per day is fairly high, but the hours are short and days worked are few--more a matter of checking in at Hell's local branch office a few times a week. :)

Titles:

Fallen
Legionnaire
Marshal
Knight
Earl
Duke
Archduke
Marquis
Prince
Archdemon

Please note: This career has a known but apparently very rare bug that causes Sims to receive the "missed a work day" message on some of their days off for a few users. If you experience this bug, there's not much I can tell you, as better modders than me have looked into it and been unable to track down the cause. But I'd still like to hear about it.
